Zerotime Launches reZults Program to Minimize Client Risk

CLEVELAND, OHIO, May 23, 2001 —Zerotime Interactive has launched "reZults," a program aimed at driving qualified Web site traffic for clients.

"In a crowded interactive landscape, where banner ads and opt-in e-mails dominate, too many marketers are overspending for so-called 'impressions,' said Dean Skinner, president of Zerotime, a wholly owned subsidiary of Wyse Advertising, Cleveland’s largest agency. "A strategy on impressions misses the point. In this economic environment, marketers need results and you only get results from qualified traffic."

reZults is not a "one size fits all" program, but an analysis and consulting service aimed at improving search engine results for client Web sites. The reZults program focuses on acquiring new customers by utilizing several tools, including: pay-per click, search engine submission and search engine optimization.

reZults is the latest service offered by Zerotime, which in May 2001 launched zerorisk", an arrangement that gives clients the opportunity to test new technology and cut fees if results fall short of goals. reZults shares this client-centered focus on minimizing risk by offering tools for immediate measurement and optimization.

The Automation Control and Information Group of Rockwell Automation was the first client to launch a reZults program.

"We’ve reduced our cost-per-click by 93 percent," said Barry Jereb, E-Business Manager for the Mayfield Heights business unit of the Milwaukee-based maker of industrial automation power, control and information products. "Now that’s impressive for me as an online advertiser who needs proven results to win budgets for online advertising."

Royal Appliance Manufacturing Co. also recently launched a reZults program.

"In today’s economic environment, we have to be more concerned with getting the right people to our site," said Mike Crowdes, Internet Programs Manager for the maker of Dirt Devil products based in Cleveland. "Volume isn’t the important factor; the quality of the lead is. That’s why reZults is such an attractive program for us."

Once only the domain of online media, search engines and software companies, results oriented programs are gaining currency among web-development and online advertising firms.
